Description:

This role is responsible for managing demand and production planning activities, including analyzing forecasts, balancing inventory levels, and coordinating with operations to ensure timely and efficient fulfillment of customer requirements. The Supply Chain Planner will prepare and maintain planning reports, monitor key performance indicators, and recommend adjustments to schedules and inventory policies to improve service levels and reduce costs. Daily work involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, communicating planning decisions to stakeholders, and using analytical tools to support data-driven decision-making. The planner will also support continuous improvement initiatives and assist in defining processes and standards for supply chain planning.

Required skills and experience:

Strong Demand Planning and Production Planning skills to manage forecasts, inventory, and schedules effectively.

Solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making.

Operations Management skills to coordinate planning activities with manufacturing, logistics, and other operational functions.

Clear and professional Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present planning recommendations.

Relevant experience in supply chain or production planning in a manufacturing or consulting environment.

Proficiency with planning and ERP systems, spreadsheets, and data analysis tools.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Ability to work on-site in Lawrenceburg, IN, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
